01 · The beginning

The story did not begin with a wedding.

It began in 2015, inside a bank. Moad Alodeh was 23, in a stable job, and certain it was not the life he wanted to continue. In June that year, he left banking and started Golden Touch from zero.

He did not enter the wedding industry with years of experience or a fixed formula. What drew him to it was the opposite: a field where every room can be read differently, every idea can be developed, and every celebration begins with a new creative problem to solve.

02 · August 2015 · Al Ain

500 guests. Two months after the start.

Golden Touch's first wedding was a 500-guest celebration in Al Ain. Its success confirmed that this was the field Moad wanted to build his future in.

  1. 2015

The year Moad began his professional journey in weddings and events.

  2. Al Ain

The city where Golden Touch delivered its first wedding.

  3. 500 guests

The scale of that first wedding, only two months after the company began.

03 · Experience

Built in the field, not from one source.

Moad learned through experimentation, mistakes, continuous research and the repeated work of solving problems he had not faced before. He also travelled through the United States, Turkey, Georgia and Gulf countries to widen his visual references and see different approaches to design.

He complemented field experience with courses covering wedding planning fundamentals, wedding design and styling, wedding business and pricing, client management and wedding sales, and wedding-day production and execution. But the largest part of his knowledge still comes from the work itself: rooms, teams, clients, constraints and the decisions that have to hold when the doors open.

04 · Design approach

The empty room is the starting point.

  1. Read the room

Doors, entrances, sightlines and the architecture come before decoration.

  2. Test the possibilities

Several layout scenarios are considered before choosing the strongest spatial direction.

  3. Design the guest journey

The experience is planned from arrival to the final moment, so every element has a reason to be there.

05 · Philosophy

Success is not measured by the size of the celebration.

A wedding can be expansive and highly produced, or intentionally simple. For Moad, the real measure is whether the result feels like what the client imagined and whether they are genuinely happy when they see it.

That is also why he does not believe in imposing one signature style on every wedding. Each celebration should have its own identity. A trend is useful when it strengthens the idea; when it adds nothing, it can be left behind.

06 · More than design

Golden Touch changed. Moad changed with it.

Years of production made him more precise, more resilient under pressure and more capable of leading a team through decisions that carry real responsibility. They also taught him a less visible part of the work: how to understand a bride's stress, contain it and keep moving when she needs confidence that the details are under control.

The journey was not a straight line. There were successes, failures and moments that felt like starting from zero again. The lesson that stayed was simple: zero is not the end. You can rebuild with more experience and a clearer view of what comes next.

07 · Golden Touch today

From relying on others to building from within.

Moad is proud of starting without experience, of the Golden Touch name and reputation, of the trust clients place in the team, and of the level the design work has reached.

He is equally proud that Golden Touch has grown from depending heavily on external suppliers into a company with its own team and in-house production capabilities, giving the studio greater control from concept through execution.

08 · The next chapter

The ambition is larger than one beautiful event.

Moad's goal is to build Golden Touch into one of the important wedding design and production companies in the UAE, while developing his own role as a recognised wedding expert across the Arab world.

More than a decade after the decision he made at 23, the idea that first attracted him to the field still remains: every empty space carries more than one possibility, and the strongest idea may still be the one that has not been built yet.

Start with the space. Then build the story.
