Wedding cost in Dubai: what actually changes your budget
Why two Dubai weddings with the same guest count can have very different budgets.
Published · By Moad Alodeh

There is no useful single answer to how much a wedding in Dubai costs. Two celebrations with the same guest count can require very different budgets because the venue, room transformation, florals, technical production and installation window can be completely different.
Guest count changes more than catering
More guests mean more tables, chairs, centrepieces and service requirements, and can also require a larger ballroom. That changes the scale of the kosha or stage, dance floor, lighting coverage and sometimes sound.
The venue changes the production budget
A ballroom with strong existing finishes may need less intervention than a large neutral hall. Load-in windows, service lifts, access routes, power and rigging rules also change how structures are built and how much labour is needed.
Custom décor is priced by what must be built
A custom kosha, stage, catwalk, dance floor or ceiling treatment is shaped by dimensions, materials, finishing, transport, installation and dismantling. Bigger is not automatically better; proportion to the room matters.
Florals and lighting are major design variables
Floral cost changes with table count, arrangement size, flower type and large installations. Lighting should be designed with the décor because it changes how colours, finishes, flowers and the couple read in the room and on camera.
Outdoor weddings add infrastructure
Outdoor spaces can require flooring, extra lighting, power distribution or generators, weather-resistant structures and more complicated access. A beautiful open space is not automatically a lower-cost space to produce.
Keep the wedding and travel budgets separate
For couples living abroad, separate venue and catering, design and production, accommodation, flights and transfers. State the currency and whether your working budget covers our services or the whole celebration. Ask for taxes, service charges and installation and removal costs in writing so quotes can be compared on the same scope.
How to get a useful quotation
- Set a realistic guest-count range.
- Shortlist the venue before locking the room design.
- Choose the two or three visual moments that matter most.
- Separate must-haves from optional additions.
- Share a working budget range so the first concept starts at the right scale.
- Confirm what delivery, installation, operation and dismantling include.
Why we do not publish one average Dubai wedding price
Published Dubai wedding ranges often describe different scopes: some include venue and catering, while others cover décor, planning, entertainment or multi-day events. For design and production, a useful quotation starts with the venue, guest count, event format and level of transformation.
